Winter Soup Recipes// Hearty Homemade Soups//
So the other day it was freezing cold outside. I couldn't seem to get warm no matter how many layers of clothing I had on. The winter weather can definitely be bone chilling this time of year, especially in the heart of February.
I knew I had to eat or drink something steamy warm to help thaw me out.
A nice bowl of chicken noodle soup would do the trick I thought. But then I remembered this amazing Kale and Potato Soup recipe I made on repeat last year. It's so good and hearty and leaves me full for hours!
So I made a quick visit to my local grocery store and bought all the ingredients I needed to make this yummy soup.
The best part about this recipe is that it only takes a few simple steps and ingredients to prepare.
I ended up making this soup two times that week! I couldn't get enough!
Eating a hot bowl of hearty soup is a great way to stay cozy and warm throughout the cold winter season.
It would also make a relaxing and satisfying Valentine's Day meal if you're looking to stay home to avoid the crowded restaurants.
Soup is good for the soul
The other day I asked my followers on Instagram to list their favorite go-to winter soups, and I'm excited to share their responses.
