Front Porch Decorating Tip: How to Create a Pottery Barn Inspired Fall Porch for Less
Pottery Barn is my favorite go-to place to look for front porch decorating inspiration, especially for the Fall and holiday season. Today I am sharing how I created my Pottery Barn inspired Fall porch for less. First, I simply browse their online decor looking for warm and cozy pieces that will fit in with my current decor style. Next, I screenshot my favorite Pottery Barn styled pictures and save them to my camera roll to use later as a visual reference so I can recreate the look for less.
For this years Fall Porch design, I saved money by shopping mostly at Walmart. However, I did purchase my favorite remote control waterproof outdoor flameless candles on Amazon. It comes in a set of 2. You can order my battery operated candles here. I love the elegant glow at night and they pair well with these tall black sleek lanterns I found at Walmart. I was pleasantly surprised to find these Pottery Barn looking lanterns at Walmart. They are made with great quality and look high end. I grabbed two of them so that I could mirror each side of my porch steps to match.

Another way you can achieve the Pottery Barn look for your Fall front porch is by placing mums or seasonal plants inside of baskets. Using baskets as planters give texture and color that creates warmth and elegance to the space. I found my woven brown baskets at Walmart for under $7 and love them paired with my orange and purple mums. It's a small affordable detail that makes a huge difference when it comes to creating a warm and inviting entryway on a budget.
My baskets are sold out, but here is a round up of my favorites from Walmart that are still in stock.
Decorating a Pottery Barn Fall porch for less is pretty easy and cost-effective by shopping for similar designer-style products at a lesser price. Once you have all the products needed to decorate your porch space, you can recreate the look by using your favorite Pottery Barn-styled photos as a template. The fun part is adding your personal touch to the project and making it your own!

Below are three easy Fall porch decorating tips that will help you create the Pottery Barn look for less.
Getting Started
The best way to get started with any decorating project is by starting with a clean slate. Using a blower or broom to wipe away any yard debris and bugs on your front porch before you begin decorating your Fall porch can be helpful in creating an overall put-together look
Next, add your statement pieces. Your statement pieces can be larger items or any decorations you want to draw the eye toward. It can be a single item or a group of items that create the mood of your project. My favorite fall porch statement pieces are mums and pumpkins.
Lastly, add floral fillers. Fillers can be anything creative that fills in any gaps or unwanted spaces in your project design. It also can add elevated luxury and dimension to your space. For my fall porch design, I used faux eucalyptus stems and leafy greenery from Walmart. I love the added greenery nestled in between the stacked pumpkins.
